Customer: Anonymous. Vauxhall Astra CDTI

I have an Astra estate CDTi and had it's ECU re-mapped for fuel economy. I have been monitoring the fuel consumption for a couple of month now: I have gained about 40 extra miles per tank ( approx. 4 miles per gallon ) for a mixed driving of 2/3 urban and 1/3 motorway. The car feels also more responsive; At around 2500 revs, the extra pulling power is very noticeable.

With the fuel price increase showing no stopping, it was the best thing I did towards reducing my fuel costs.
